President Carter was almost completely right on the need for Energy Independence but his plan lacked Production and taking advantage of our Natural Resources

One thing that Jimmy Carter got right as President was his handling of Energy Policy by trying to move America towards Energy Independence & off of Foreign Oil. He knew the importance of this 20 years before it became popular.
The problem with the Carter Energy Policy is that it didn't go far enough to promote America Energy Resources.
