@Toth123 yeah,,,I like all the housewives on the show, but I have to admit--Alex and Simon's choice to let their son do as he pleased was ridiculous. of course, Bethenny's boyfriend's failure to smack the boy across the room for doing it was just as inexcusable...

She's a scheming sociall climber with her husband Simon. The only reason they're backing Bethany is because she's popular and they want some of the action to promote themselves and their money making schemes. By placing herself in the middle of the feud Alex assures herself of airtime and publicity she and Simon will use to sell their book and make as much money as possible. Make no mistake Alex is not a true friend just a social climbing career opportunist. Like Alex says Status is everything

A housewife is a married women who stays home and takes care of children and/or the home. Bethany is not married, no kids and works? How did she qualify as a housewife?
