A tribute to some footballers who have died to the song 'Man Of The Hour' by Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder

Antonio Puerta died on 28 August 2007, affected with arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, three days after suffering a series of cardiac arrests during a league game against Getafe CF on the 25th.

Daniel Jarque played his entire career with RCD Espanyol, and was named team captain one month before his death from a heart attack, at the age of 26

Hrvoje Custic In the opening minutes of his club's home match against HNK Cibalia in the Croatian first division on 29 March 2008, Ćustić suffered severe head injuries after colliding with a concrete wall positioned about three metres from the sideline

Marc Vivien Foe; On 26 June 2003, Cameroon faced Colombia in the semi-final, held at the Stade de Gerland in Lyon, France. In the 72nd minute of the match Foé collapsed in the centre circle,[20] with no other players near him.[21] After attempts to resuscitate him on the pitch, he was stretchered off the field, where he received mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and oxygen. Medics spent 45 minutes attempting to restart his heart, and although he was still alive upon arrival at the stadium's medical centre he died shortly afterwards

Miklos Feher was a Hungarian footballer, who played as a striker. He died of a sudden cardiac death during a match between Vitória de Guimarães and his team of Benfica in Guimarães, Portugal

Robert Enke; On 10 November 2009, at the age of 32, Enke committed suicide when he stood in front of a regional express train at a level crossing in Eilvese, Neustadt am Rübenberge.[26][27] Police confirmed a suicide note was discovered but would not publicise its details.[28] His widow Teresa revealed that her husband had been suffering from depression for six years and was treated by a psychiatrist.
