I have a tire carrier and hood vents as projects, now to decide which gets my attention this weekend. Have the tire on the roof and it's not going anywhere so probably the vents.

Yup. Temp stayed right at 190, underhood temp was notiably reduced, run up the mountains to Heber with no heated up too... I'm really, REALLY happy with the hood vents.
