Bleach Manga Pilot 00 Part 1

During the pilot there were many diferences that set it aside to the final work some of those are * Ichigo's hair is color black in the cover a opossed to his orange hair. * After depleting her Shinigami powers, Rukia shrinks in size. * Orihime dies and is taken to Soul Society at the end of the chapter. * Insted of performing konsō souls are given a ticket to enter Soul Society. * Hollows do not have a mask. * Ichigo's Shihakushō has a star pattern under his left sleeve. * Ichigo's Zanpakutō is the size of a standard Zanpakutō. * Orihime's father who died 3 years before Orihime's death, arrives to take her to soul society. Then Rukia indentified him as a hollow and reveals that he killed Orihime to stay with her forever because she has stop praying for him and seems to have forget him. He's then defeated by Ichigo. In the official plot he is in part replaced by Orihime's brother Sora Inoue.




When Tite Kubo first introduced his idea to Weekly Shōnen Jump it was rejected. Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, saw the story and wrote a letter of encouragement to Kubo.[8] Bleach(Thanks to Toriyama's "importance" in the shonen domain) was accepted for publication a short time later in 2001.

Early plans for the story did not include the hierarchical structure of Soul Society, but did include some characters and elements which did not come into the plot until the Arrancar arc, such as Ichigo's Shinigami heritage

The reason Ichigo's hair is now orange was to contrast him with Rukia. And Rukia was supposed t o be the main character but Kubo decided she didn't seem like one so then he created Ichigo... and about Orihime, I think she originally was supposed to be bad... but I don't remember.

A somewhat solid pilot,but I could see why it was rejected.I liked the stars on Ichigo's sleeves and the flames on Rukia's,though...I wanted Kubo to keep that lol.

And it's just me,or that friend of Ichigo's looks like a fusion of Canon!Bleach's Keigo and Mizuiro?
