  • @Rocketboy1950 A loser is someone who at 60 goes on youtube and tries to pick a fight over a comment about a train. A loser is someone who has to brag about what he supposedly owns and all the money he owns. No-one cares Rocketboy. Only you are sitting there getting all fired up. Relax and enjoy your Christmas.

  • @Rocketboy1950 It was a joke. Get a life considering you are like 60. Loser.

  • @ufn489 The speed limit was 15km/h last time I drove a train over it. There was talk of renewing the crossing and making it 30km/h like they did at Glenhuntly. Train wheels never leave the track unless the thing has actually derailed.

  • They come in fast at this station most the time it's a load of fun being hammered around on the points. "Roughest Joints on the network.

  • Oh, apart from the city loop you mean.

  • OK...get your point but the king of them all is the Glenferrie Road Rail/Tram crossover at Kooyong. All trains must slow to 5km/hr to traverse this section and even then the wheels actually leave the track as they bounce over this road/rail and tram intersection.

  • Nope, just everyday normal Melbourne tracks. Noisy flat topped rails, wooden sleepers, dog spikes, fishplate rail joiners, bumps and swaying all over the place, and to top it off, one set of manual hand gates! Puffing Billy is more maintained if anything.

Nothing substantial has been done in Victoria since the 1950s besides a handful of station upgrades and 'Regional Fast Rail' in the middle of nowhere (while crashing into vehicles because of a lack of boom gates and (car) driver stupidity).

  • A loose rail joint i reckon!

  • Sounds more like a red rattler
