online on realistic mode i shot down 5 of these by doing hit and runs with my spitfire IX =)( I-153s)

I know this isn't a joint effort with Ubisoft, the maker of the 2 Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X games. But do you need to unlock more planes, and also, can you unlock support abilities (for example in H.A.W.X., an unlock would be a 10% decreased time lock for JSMs)?
