  • Oh man not you too caleb. Are you aware that you are leaving out half of the notes in each upscale? I normally wouldn't say this especially not to you. but i've found that just about all the vids on youtube leave them out. Although you brought a different acoustical view to this song this time.

  • There is a pretty practical reason for that, though. When you start arranging it, you realize that the piano can use a whole 4 octaves (and then some) to get all of the notes, but guitar (especially classical) doesn't have that kind of range. you can shave off an octave, but then you're left with 3 octave phrasings, which didn't give me the flow i was after, so I had to settle for the 2 octave runs. It was a compromise, but what can you do?

  • Anyone else notice in the begining he skips one of the parts in the begining listed in his tab?

He skipped that third scale eque part....the one starting with fret 2 on the E string....whatever sounds fine I know...but curious if it was there or not.

  • You're right. I recorded this before I finished that version of the tabs. I may post another of these with tabs and the other part sometime.

  • Damn...

  • holy shit, this is rad

  • Nice, dude. You're really good.

  • Dude. Fuck yes. Screw all the people saying that you're not playing it right. Even so, playing both parts at once is impressive as hell!

  • @CalebElijah Get a twelve string guitar. Problem solved.

  • @CalebElijah Don't wanna be rude in any way, just wanted you to know, if you didn't already that it's possible to fit all the notes in all 4 octaves on a seven-string, haha.

  • Good job on this one, but to be honest I like the full version of the prelude better

  • Have to admit...I like his version better...SOOO much easier to play and it has that nice classical feel.

  • This only comes out of my right headphone.

    Otherwise, this is awesome.

  • Really nice man, i came here because some fool said that one of my riffs (Fun looping riff to play) on my page was a ripoff of this prelude, but now i see its nothing like it, this is way better haha, thanks man.
