As a member of the design team on the popular series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Eduardo Xol helps improve the lives of a family in need every week for ABC TV. Off camera, Xol, the eldest of three siblings in a close-knit Mexican-American family, is helping his sister, Monica Cajayon, cope with lupus.

Eduardo and Monica's story is the cover feature in the Spring 2011 issue of Lupus Now® magazine, the only national magazine for people with lupus and their families and health professionals. Lupus Now provides updates on the latest developments in lupus research and treatment, as well articles on managing lupus.

Eduardo is lending his support to the Lupus Foundation of America to help his sister and others who are affected by lupus. He serves as the Grand Marshal for the 2011 LFA Walk for Lupus Now®, which will be held in nearly 70 communities across the United States to raise awareness of lupus and funds for lupus research, education and advocacy programs. More information about Walk for Lupus Now is available online at walkforlupusnow.org.
