The Living Room Floor

Recorded on September 5, 2009 using a Flip Video camcorder. This is the new white oak floor that we laid in our living room. Rod cut the trees a few years ago (damaged trees that had to be taken down), and he cut the lumber in his WoodMizer sawmill. The lumber air dried for a couple of years, and Rod made the flooring in August. We've been working for three weeks, and the floor is getting close to being done. The last coat of finish is done, and now we have to wait a couple of days for it to dry completely. Someday, we'll actually be able to move back into the living room!
