It is easy to see Asperger's as a disability (which it kinda is). but I like to see it as an evolutionary variation (sorta like X-Men)! That helps me to deal with it. Being who I am is always a problem, but I do get what you are talking about. When I was diagnosed with AS, the doctor told me to foucs on the strengths that came with it (and the one's I have inside). Life in a neurotypical world for an aspie is rough, but it can be fun, too.
