Tom is right, you know?

its christmas eve and I cant stop listening to this...

@CynikalDog - Yeah, I think it's unfortunate that artists tend to release studio albums soon after they've created their songs, then the songs only mature musically after they've performed them a few thousand times. I agree, this is a good example.

@TheAmazingAtheist I wonder what he's "completely wrong" about. His personal preference for the other version? Hmm... that makes me wonder if my preference for corn on the cob over canned corn is completely wrong too. I mean, I get this pleasant sensation when I eat the former and an unpleasant sensation when I eat the latter, but I could be misinterpreting the whole thing. What do you think?

@TheAmazingAtheist No it doesn't.

Great recording!

@CynikalDog Nah they're good in different ways. The album version grows on you. In fact the fact that the vocals in the studio version are somewhat uncomfortable to listen to make it all the more fitting, as it deals with a subject that is quite uncomfortable to address.

@tigers260 i hope for you to feel this again, tom has taken my soul when i was around 12
I actually prefer this version to the one on Bone Machine. On the album his voice is too shrill. Here it's somber, and matches the tone of the song.
