what the hell were they think when they did not include Arthur in the movie. he's the one that make the book readable (basicly him)

@olsen091 The director and writer of the movie, Rawson Thurber, changed it so much to make it more of a fit for the big screen. Making it into a love triangle would make the story run better, so they got rid of Arthur and just made Cleveland the love interest, which Michael Chabon (the author of the book) approved of. There were also several failed attempts to make this into a movie, so this version finally got the story to the cinemas
