  • Just making up for 2000 when a Michael Vick-led 10-1 VT team ranked #5 in BCS was snubbed by the Fiesta Bowl for a 8-3 Notre Dame team, ranked #11, that ended up getting crushed by #6 Oregon State 41-9.. Did Tech deserve a BCS bowl this year? Not really, but life isn't fair. The BCS is about money and the Sugar Bowl felt that Michigan-Virginia Tech was their best option finanacially.

  • This is Mr. Hoolihan,

I was schooled in the meaning of the word Integrity while pursuing my Doctorate Degree at the Johnnie Cochran Institute of Jurisprudence. Don't ever tell me I don't hold to high standards, or that I don't know how to count. I just chose to overlook the numbers 7, 8 and 12 in the BCS this year....."IS THAT SO WRRRRONG?"
