My just rebuilt 5.0 302 1992 Mustang Gt on a cold start. This is my first car. My dad and I just rebuilt this engine. The exhaust is Bassani longtube headers, Mac Prochamber (Offroad), Flowmaster catback. And also there is no smog pump. I don't have a hood at the moment because it is in the paint shop. The hood is a Cervanis 2.5 cowl. Thanks for watching!

Mods are:
Gt-40 Heads and intake
Trick flow stage 1 cam
Crane 1.7 roller rockers
70mm Throttle body with matching EGR spacer
Moroso Valve Covers
1/2 Intake Spacer
Bassani Longtube Headers

3;73 Rearend Gear Ratio
Summit Racing Spark Plug Wires
Steeda Underdrive Pullies
Ford Racing Lowering Springs
Stedda Caster and Camber Plates
C&L 76mm mass air/ Cold air kit.
Mac Offroad Prochamber
Flowmaster Catback
I'm sure i'm forgeting many things.

  • just got my new engine this past weekend, trick flow stage 1, trw flat top pistons, 70mm throtle body with matchin egr spacer, trick flow street heat intake, all new sensors and sounds just like this car on video, can't figure out the problem, starts good but after a few couple minutes stalls ans smells like runing rich, so thinking is either a vaccum leak or tps sensor voltage

  • @cisco1991roush Adjustable fuel pressure regualtor fixes it

  • I had the same surging problem when I put on my supercharger. Had it tuned by 2 different companies and they couldnt figure it out. I turned the idol up (opened up the throttle body) and now it starts no problem and idles fine without me touch the throttle at all. Just a thought.

  • @72Horton Well i bought an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and im waiting to put that on( its snowing here). Once i get it on i might tweek the timing and/or idle speed. once i get it all setup right i'll post a video.

  • Thats cool. I was thinking about it a little bit. Have you put a chip in it and had at all? I have a Diablo Revolution chip. I think you can call them and tell them your exact setup and they can send you an already burned/tuned chip.

  • @72Horton No, but I really want to. I was going to have my local dyno shop to it. They wanted $800 for it and they use SCT tuners.

  • Dude, that's my favorite color combo, I like it. As far as the idle seeking, it could be a dirty IAC, intake gasket leak, vacuum leak, dirty MAF or a TPS either bad or not adjusted correctly. If I were you (if it's not fixed yet) I'd start by checking for vacuum leaks and adjusting your TPS. From there clean your IAC and your MAF. If all else fails replace the TPS and IAC.

  • ...sounds like you need a new idle control valve....but im sure

  • By the way real neat looking bay

  • Yeah u have intake leak some were its hunting bad. May be wrong as I had same issues until tuned.

  • BY THE WAY YOUR CAR SOUNDS LIKE SHIT!

  • HERE PUPPIES, BREATHE IN SOME GOOD OL CARBON MONOXIDE AS YOU LAY PANTING IN A CAGE RIGHT NEXT TO MY EXHAUST PIPES!

    YOUR A REAL FUCKING DUMBASS!

  • is it still a 302 or did u bore it ?

  • Thats a Vacuum leak or possibly a bad TPS that Enhancer thingy fixes that

  • its vacuum related man, i have a 1992 gt and mine sounded EXACTLY the same and it was a broken vacuum line on the bottom side of the intake.
