Most people who don't like the last 2 albums as much probably started with Deliver Us & Undoing Ruin where their songs were getting too nerdy and proggy with too much wanking, and then following the trend of catchy pop choruses.
Their new albums are a return to the more aggressive style of Mark of the Judas and The Sadist Nation.

@Ragnarok0Aeirk More about opinion really. I like their albums, but I'm not a major fan of them. But I personally believe this album to be better than their previous.

@Ragnarok0Aeirk Basic? It's fucking incredible. But if you keep comparing the new solos to that of The Tides you might aswell stop. It's hard to surpass that one!

That has no feel and it is too basic in my opinion. And I am glad you like then instrumental I didn't favor it too much though. I don't think the guitar has a much feel as it did before and its not as technical either.

@Ragnarok0Aeirk Last time I checked, this and most other songs have solos. Add on top of that, their best song ever is on this album (Terra Solaris).

Why do the not have any solos anymore????? This new DH is fairly good but it doesn't compare to their older albums in my opinion.
