I took this video on my cell phone after I and a friend observed the newly-formed tornado approaching the campus of our church and school from just south of Mohawk Parkway and just east of Skyline Boulevard in Cape Coral. At about 6:30 p.m. it was simply a mass of swirling debris with no obvious funnel cloud. The funnel seems to have formed several minutes later when I began taking the video. The storm seems to have destroyed more than one neighborhood electrical transformer. Power had been blinking on and off both before and after the twister, but it finally went down completely at 7:10 p.m. and stayed off for about a couple of hours.
this is the tornado i spotted looking out my window :D

My daughter was battered with glass and had our huge pull out couch dropped on top of her. She was only 2! It was the only thing that kept her safe (relatively) the damage was more than some people think. Our power was out for days, we xouldnt live there for over a week, we had boarded up windows for nearly 2 months and our roof was ripped off.
