Well, shake it up baby now Twist and shout Come on, come on, come, come on baby now Come on and work it on out You know you twist, little girl You know you twist so fine Come on and twist a little closer now And let me know that you're mine, woo
Ah, ah, ah, ah Yeah, shake it up baby now Twist and shout Come on, come on, come, come on baby now Come on and work it on out You know you twist, little girl You know you twist so fine Come on and twist a little closer now And let me know that you're mine Well shake it, shake it, shake it, baby now Well shake it, shake it, shake it, baby now Well shake it, shake it, shake it, baby now Ah, ah, ah, ah

Yes John Lennon (God rest his soul.) said in an interview they had to do a lot of takes to get the recording perfect and that session really hurt and may have even done some damage, you can hear his voice crackling and topping out. but i'm glad he did cause wow what a sound!!!!!!!!!
Just try to get your voice like Lennons in this song. that alone was enough to hurt my throat. He is a hell of a a trooper to do this song so many times.
This song just tore the hell out of his throat everytime he sang it. The beatles special on the history channel said they had to do this song last because he couldnt sing anymore afterwards. It may not be the original but it is definitly the best.
Once again, I am here, advertising my music. This is basically because I'm a HUGE Beatles fan (so big I had to put it in capitals) and I write songs. You're probably asking yourself "mrthompson626, why are you telling us". Well, have no fear Joe, I am telling you because they are the biggest influence me. Seem's kinda logical that people who like the Beatles might like the stuff on my channel. So, yeah, check it out. (there's a cookie in it for you)
yah it probley was, but it was probely already sore because this was the last song the recorded after a day long recording sessions for there first album comprissed of there hit singles
whenever they preformed this song they had to do it last, because it destroyed johns voice so he couldnt sing after this song i love how paul and george shake thier heads when they go 'oooooo'
