This study was part of a project running in the Dept. of Radiology, Uniklinikum Goettingen, about the changes in cardiac function during static apnea. 1,5T scan with imaging prior and during apnea. Heart beat was constast about 70bpm. 02 sat. after 270secs was 68%.
@mrwideboy Hmmm interesting. Well whatever we call it, we can call it obsolete, since the paper last week by the Fram group has finally opened the door for true real-time imaging using iterative image reconstruction. It's quite an amazing piece of work, doi:10.1002/nbm.1585 . I like your NMR quench vid!

@10mintwo Yes that is, but i would call it ecg gated. Its a nice picture and it's a good example although it's much easier on a human heart because the signal to noise is quite good

@mrwideboy Is this an example of the so called EKG-gated cardiac MRI?

I assume you are using a low echo time flash sequence with a incremented delay between each frame? cardiac-cine
