  • I's assuming 'medium' as a level is something more unique to this country's dressage federation?

  • This test is a part of the 3 parts of Working Equitation. Like Military/eventing. A rider has to do all 3 parts ( sometimes 1 extra with cows also). To show the horse versatile. So no - the level is not unique - it is just the level of this sport. On international level these countries do the sport: Portugal, Spain, Italy, Brazil,Mexico,Sweden,France ,England - and maybe some more. More on the way.

  • David is just the BEST rider and instructor! His canter/halts are sensational, as are the flying changes!

  • Yea David is a nice rider. But if i were him I would work seriously on the walk. I know that horse can walk much better than that.

  • that is the strangest dressage test iv ever seen

  • it is working equitation dressage. It has roots in work with bulls. Only show walk and canter - trot is not used. In master level they show piaffe and passage transitions.

  • Love the horse, so responsive! Great riding too. Does anyone here think that the canter was a little too forward? I know the canter is supposed to be going somewhere but that seemed very fast!

Well done to the both of them! :)

  • amazing to watch, i love leg yielding. :)

  • This is the first quality working equitation test I've seen. I think the walk could have been a bit longer but I really loved the reinback/canter. I would like to see more of this! The rider is unbelievable. Thanks for posting this

  • I did not know that. thanks for clearing it up for me.

  • BRAVO

  • I have been told that Mulato was retired after they won the world championship last year. I know David now rides Otario, a dun stallion. He is an awesome ride, I have tried him against the tourinha (bull on wheels)!

David is coming to our yard in Norway in May - I can't wait to ride for him again!!
