A short vid showing a 12 volt setup used to charge USB devices. Shown is a Yuan VB1205S 1W DC-DC converter on a breadboard that is charging a Sansa Mp3 player via a 12 volt AGM battery.

doesn't the USB plug need 500mA?

@latinbala4sho no, it converts 12VDC to 5VDC. it probably also limits current to somewhere around 1.5A

I bought my first Sansa and I'm charging it for the first time, but it just shows the Sandisk at 1:05, but nothing else.
Is it charging?

Hi, i'm using a 7805 stabilizer for the same purposes. But i need get more amps. Can i connect more 7805s into parallel connection?
