Protect Our Turtle Campaign (Flash Mob)

On July 23rd 2011, the public was treated to all things 'turtle-tastic' at the 'Protect Our Turtles Campaign' held by WWF-Malaysia in Kemaman, Terengganu.

Aimed at raising awareness on the need to protect the endangered species and their nesting beaches, the fun-filled affair included a 'Futsal Piala Penyu' Competition, games, exhibitions, pledge signing and a special performance by UiTM Dungun students dubbed 'Turtle Story/Viva La Tortuga'. The world's first Freeze Turtle Egg Trade (FTET) was also carried out by 60 volunteers.
