MSc in Multimedia & Entertainment Technology - SD5901 Master's Project (Part-time mode) - 2006/07 by CHAN Chui Fai, CHUNG Man Leung Credy, LAI Doi Wang Darwen, LEUNG Koon Ho Terence, YIP Chun Ka Simon
Interactive media [student interview] - Regret about words left unspoken and deeds left undone is a common feeling when attending a relative or close friends funeral. Words and actions such as "I indeed love you very much" and "I have forgiven you already are usually kept in our hearts until it is too late.
With the objective of encouraging people to seize the opportunity to act, the Meet In Coffin project aims to simulate a personal death and funeral experience for participants. Experiencing a simulated death and funeral of ones own enables the participant to live with a different perspective. Having reflected on life and death in an up close and personal way, and on those friends and families for whom they truly care, participants ponder on what is really important in life, and they re-align their priorities.
We know life by knowing death. Meet in Coffin before it is too late.
