I have used a hammer drill chisel like this before and cracked joints like a stair step away from the repair area. Once a brick has a crack in the mortar joints does it need to be removed or can the mortar be cut back and just tuck pointed? Seems like the more bricks I cut out the bigger the cracks and the more bricks are involved
looks like hell . i would tell u to go fuck yourself and not pay u a damn penny. come to harrisburg pennsylvania and we will show u how to be a mason.
I am not sure that a wrecking bar is the proper tool for removing the milk chute. A diamond blade would have allowed removal of brick without needing an impact chisel or wrecking bar. Using those tools are a prescription for disaster.
Not sure what the reason would be to remove it... it was built with the house, why not leave it? Even tho it may not be used anymore, what a conversation piece...
