Chapter 17 Part 2
*They drive to the school, get their tickets, & find a spot in the bleachers. Rachel excuses herself to the bathroom and goes to look for Brian. She spots him talking to his friend Jared, who is also a football player.*
Rachel:*walking up* Hey! Hi, Jared.
Jared: Hey Rachel. *Brian gives him a go away, so we can talk look, so he leaves*
Brian:*flashing a grin* I thought you werent going to make it in time. We have to go in the locker room in like 2 minutes.
Rachel:*smiles* Well.Ta Da *she does jazz hands & Brian laughs* Sooo.. Do you think you guys will win?
Brian: Probably*the coach calls all players into the locker room*
Rachel: Well you have to go. Ill be the one in the stands constantly trying to start the wave. *grins* Call me after the game when you are done changing and all that stuff?
Brian: Sure
Rachel:*stands on her toes & kisses his cheek, whispers* Good luck. *pulls back, smiles then runs back to her friends*
* The game goes by without a hitch, Rachel does start the wave after their team scores a touchdown and to her surprise, everyone in the stands joins in. Their school wins the game, people starting leaving.*
Rachel:*as they are walking out to the parking lot* Oh, hey guys I almost forgot. Brian wanted to know if we all wanted to go to Frannies after the game.
Sarah: YES!!! Can we please?
Rachel:*laughs* How about it boys?
Nick: Whats Frannies?
Rachel: Well its th- *cut off by an enthusiastic Sarah*
Sarah: Its this awesome diner place with AMAZING food!!!
Rachel: So do you want to go?
Kevin: Sure, Ill call home to tell mom & dad where we will be.
Rachel:*her phone rings* Its Brian. *answers* Helloyeahthey said yesokayyeahalright, bye. *hangs up and continues to the car* He said hed meet us there. Lets go.
Sarah & Joe: YES!!!
Nick: Joe, youve never been there before.
Joe:*whining* But Im starving!!!
*They all pile into Kevins car and he drives them to Frannies, per Rachels directions. When they walk in the boys look around while Sarah and Rachel grab a large booth. It is a 50s style diner and a really cool place to hang out. They sat and talked for about 5 minutes when Brian arrived and slid into the booth next to Rachel. The seating order was Brian, Rachel, Kevin, Joe, Nick, & Sarah.*
Rachel: Hey. Brian this is Kevin & Joe, Nicks brothers.
Brian: Hey *they shook hands*
*They ordered food and talked, getting to know each other. Brian and Rachel got up to pay while everyone else finished eating.*
*Joes POV*
*Brian seems like a nice enough guy but I dont know. Something just feels wrong.*
Joe: Sarah, youve known Brian for awhile right?
Sarah:*still eating, nods her head* Yeah, why?
Joe: Is he a nice guy?
Sarah: Yeah I guess.
Joe:*I nod my head, mostly to myself*
Nick: Why?
Joe: What?
Nick: Why did you ask that?
Joe: Oh, I dont know. Rachels my friend and if they are going to Homecoming together, I want to make sure hes good guy.
Nick:*incredulously* Really?
Joe: What, you want her to date a bad guy?
Kevin: No, we dont want that, he means thats the only reason you are asking?
Joe:*getting a little upset at the questioning* What do you mean?
Sarah:*calmly* Joe, do you like Rachel as more then just a friend?

I have a bad feeling about Brian too. It seems like he only notices her b/c of who she is now friends with. I bet he'll do something stupid and Joe will punch him or something. On to part 3 to see if i'm right. lol

i never thought of it that way..that he only likes her because she knows famous people now
did it come across like that??
hmmmm...i guess ill have to read over my story and think about how to write the chapters
