The shoes look terrible in the front, but the side view totally makes up for it!

Sales are not an indicator of talent. Someone who has better business sense than Ms. McCartney just manages to flog these things successfully. Her designs are not original, often ill-fitting, and poorly executed. At least this time the shoes made it down the runway in one piece. McCartney is to fashion what black velvet Elvis paintings are to art.

I'd leave it to the women to decide... that's kind of her niche, designing sexy yet quirky yet comfortable sportswear. If the women don't feel comfortable in it, she's failing, but if the women want an alternative to fur and more alternative shapes to dress in, I'd let them.

She suspiciously demanded Phoebe Phylo stay with her; it's generally recognized Phylo was the one with the talent at Chloe. This is one of McCartney's better collections, and that's not really saying a lot. Her spring collection was particularly awful.
