We Can Make It Chp. 1 (Kevin Jonas Twin Sister Story)

Keira's P.O.V.

I sigheed heavily as I walked through the front door of my home in Los Angeles. Another long day of work at a local law firm where I am an apprentice, and now I have three assignments I have to mail into Stanford University.

I guess I should tell you who I am.

My name is Paulette Keira Jonas. I have a twin brother, Paul Kevin. We're 19, but I am technically older by a minute and four seconds. He and I go by our middle names, and are really close. We feel each other's pains, talk at the same time, talk through our eyes, and can speak read each other's thoughts...freaky, I know.

I have two little brothers, Joseph , 15, and Nicholas, 10.

Joe is a rebel, problem child. He is constantly acting up, smareting off, and getting into fights at school. He doesn't listen when we tell him to do things, and he disrespects us non stop. It hurts when he does it, but I don't think he even cares.

Nicholas is my baby. Like seriously, he is. He's small for his age, and he's adorable. He has a speech problem. He stutters all the time, and it causes him to get made fun of at his school. He's sensitive, and he usually spends nights with me.

When Nick was seven, he was in a car wreck on his way home with a friend of Kevin's. Kevin's friend was talking on the phone, didn't pay attention, and ran a red light. Alex didn't make it, but Nick did. The trauma of the crash still haunts him, but he can't remember anything about our real parents.

I guess you can call Kevin and I the 'parents' of our household. Our real parents abandoned us four years ago. One mornig, I wake up to an empty house, empty fridge, and a note saying they didn't want to deal with kids anymore.

I think Joe took it the hardest, because he went from a good boy to a bad one is less than a month. Nick just held me or Kevin whenever he could. Joe wouldn't let Kevin hold him at all, and saying he let me would be a lie. He wouldn't speak to me.

Kevin and I take online classes at Stanford while having full time jobs. Kevin works as an intern for John Fields, a music producer at Hollywood Records. He wants to go into the producing aspect of music.

I am an intern at one of the biggest law firms in the state, and I want to become a lawyer. I don't think it will happen, because I would have to go to courses in school, and it is a really expensive journey.

And, I should probably tell youu how we keep Joe, Nick, and each other in check.

We spank.

I don't care what anyone else thinks, but that's how we were raised, and are raised. I spank each of my brothers, and Kevin can spank me. I'm not perfect, and I do sometimes have actions that warrant a trip over Kevin's knee.

Joe gets spanked, without fail, every three days. Nick rarely gets a punishment, and it KILLS me to spank him. Every time I do, I am crying by the time I am finished. I hate it when he cries, because he's so small and vulnerable. He's my baby.

I guess you could say that we have a tough life, but hey...

We can make it.
