@marco386 I just mean from the start, why do people live near flood areas...but if this is only the second time in the history of the world, then I can understand completely. I wish the best for all of those victims. It is a sick feeling to know that the pollutants we spew from factories could cause the deaths of people all over the world, indirectly, but still happens nonetheless

marco I was there in december 2009. with my gf we had a small business in ever mall and we had that flood then. But what i see here is surreal, nothing compared with 2009. I think it will occur more in the future. Here in Belgium we have also more trouble with water than before. The polar caps are melting and evaporating and all that moisture is pounding over the planet.

@zeproo yah, what happend in 2009 was not really that bad, I had a footage of that also, global warming is starting to affect all of us already...

It appears they have a pathway for the floods to meander through.. I feel sad, but why do people live so close to the areas that are prone to flooding like this when it rains every year?

@maverickisback this is the 2nd flood ever that hit dumaguete, the 1st one was not so bad, this one is 4 times fold than the 1st, people have no choice, the government has not done anything to relocate them, that's why this happened. so sad for them..
