If you are fascinated by wood, particularly sculptured wood, you will be amazed at the level of craftsmanship achieved by British Artist Arthur de Mowbray in this short video of his dug out boats, which he creates from the whole tree trunk. Filmed on location at Fawley Court, Henley On Thames, Oxfordshire, England.

  • some people can do some really amazing things- Thankyou much for sharing that.

  • Thanks for the comment

  • Thanks for that Antoni, a fantastic vid, these are the best dug out boats I have seen to date. To hew a log into a boat and stretching the sides out by steaming the wood, is something I would love to do one day. What can be made out of wood still has me in awe. Long live the tree.

  • Thanks for taking the time to comment and I couldn't agree more.
