Baby's first cry

Bye-bye V8. Another 2 stroke DKW ring-ding-dings to life! It has taken 15 years to put the correct running engine back into this car. The last 5 years I have really tried hard to piece a 900 cc engine together as the V8 SBC just was not practical and did not ring-ding-ding.. I saved this car from scrap. I literally bought it off the the tow truck headed to the crusher. The engine was tough to make. I scratched the engine together from 5 sources trying to make the best of old scrap DKW parts. A big thank you goes out to Jon O., Ruben D., Byron B. and Jim P. for donating and or /selling the used engine parts to make this engine crackle and make this old car come to life like it should. Another motorized popcorn popper hits the road soon. Stay tuned!

That wasn't loud at all, compared to other things I've heard. Obie

Oh yes it is. Very loud. These old two strokes are unbelievably loud with no mufflers. I am always suprised. The camera is perched away as to not turn the sound to static... microphones are facing upward.
