Yeah, that seems funny, just like if you don't know someone is video taping you while you practiced just about anything. I'm not a police officer, but I ride a motorcycle and you should absolutely practice your riding skills in a safe environment.

Except for the video camera, I would say that this was a safe place to practice.

How is this even slightly funny? Look up police motorcycle drill team. If there was a fair in town, he most likely is practicing considering what he is doing is exactly what they do in drill team shows. Get informed, glad you had a good laugh...

Actually he is practicing police motorcycle drills--the slow cone weave, and the offset cone weave. Good to see him practicing, so when someone such as yourself pulls out in front of him, he can avoid a collision.
