No, even at 99 (and I quit at 93) it had very low vit.
Average dex so debuffs and the likes semi-work but in the end a dispell from another sage/scholar takes away a huge chunk off your attack. It's a pvm/fun build.

Plus MDEF and assumptio result in very low damage even with 130 int.

Ok I have a sage at the moment but even with high flee it seems ice titans can still hit me...

Wii probably do ok as scholar due to unlimited sp + energy coat, but I never liked spamming the hell out of a heal clip, so it doesn't seem like fun.
Mind you, it's boring to do this as a scholar anyway. I had a slave account for speedleveling as sage, but as scholar I usually played with an actual soul linker (a friend) or supporting, it's just a lot more social and fun.
