Timbuktu university is believed to be built around 11th Century AD. How is it the oldest university in the world when Nalanda university in india was build around the 3rd century BC?

@yakmanok Thank you for pointing that out. The main difference is that no manuscript of Nalanda or Alexandria exist today. Timbuktu is the only one of these two ancient universities which was not burnt to the ground like Nalanda or Alexandria, and whose most manuscripts have not yet been translated.
