lebron's never been better than kobe. and never will. kobe's game is fun to watch. the way he eludes his opponents. lebron's is like a bull charging on a red basket blindfolded. plus he's so overrated. ESPN sucks lebron's nutsack.

@ftghb gamewinning/tying shots stat is as pure and simple as any stat could possibly be. But I understand Kobe fan always argues against any stat that is not favourable to Kobe. As we all know, facts and reality have anti Kobe bias. How would you explain that Lakers offense goes from the best in the NBA in normal situation to barely average in the clutch. Kobe prefers the hero shot for the sports center highlights over smart basketball play and he is gonna miss it 7 out of 10 times..

Lets check that, you failed to factor in his washington years but ill forgive you for that. Also the year he only played 18 games. Clearly worse statistically there. Apart from those 3 obvious years lets see his 3 'worst'.

-95 season he played 18 games and averaged 26.9

-Rookie year he averaged 28.2

-98 season, his last championship he averaged 28.7

So only 1 off his championships was in his TOP 6 worst years.........

@PeruvianCactus put your handbag away....jordan had his three "worst" years in terms of individual statistics were when he won championships with phil jackson, his three best years came under being coached by doug collins.....the way basketball reference and all these other stat keepers define clutch is by the number of gamewinning shots/tying shots, and neglects everything else within the last 2-5 min of a game...dont believe me, watch game 6 of this year's nba finals..lebron clutch?

Almost since he has come into this league Lebron has been better than Kobe Bryant.
