As I found out later on after the gig from one of the events managers of the reading festival whilst going on a mission to find alcohol after the pubs had shut with some random crazy girl I had met that night (who's idea it was.) Axl had pulled a strop before going on stage, as a result Guns N Roses went on an hour late, he was warned they would have to turn the power off at 12am as they are suppose to finnish at 11pm and would face hefty fines, they started at 10.30pm.
After they turned the power off at 12 during paradise city Axl went mad at the event organiser lady and turned round and jumped in the crowd, fearing for my camera I quickly put it away. Turns out he was explaining to the audience the situation as he could not be heard as the mics were turned off. He later tried singing through a mega phone and new Gilby tried playing the acoustic but it was all over as no one could hear them.
