A toasted pepita (pumpkin seed) dip that's delicious and guilt-free. Inspired by a trip to Merida, Mexico. From the food and travel website, http://www.robinbenzle.com

  • Awesome vid. Looks delicious! And I agree that it is a super healthy snack, but pepitas are a definite source of fat (about 13g per ounce).

  • @myheadphones2 A little fat isn't bad - it's just the healthiest dip I know (that tastes great!)..

  • @RobinBenzle Exactly, and that little bit of fat helps make it filling. But wow, aren't pepitas addictive? I am pretty obsessed with them lately. Last night I made a toasted pepita butter (pepitas ground to a pulp) for toast, sandwiches, etc. SO yummy!

  • @myheadphones2 Wow, I'll have to try that one! I also like to toast them and put them on salads.

  • Hi. This looks great! And great because it is healthy....Nice.

  • @ChaChaDave IThanks! It's a family/friend favorite - shows up at many gatherings..

  • Looks delish! I'll have to ask Santa to bring me a coffee grinder so I can make this for New Years! Thanks for the vid.

  • @fariethesun Hi Heidi! Yes, I toss them on salads, too. Great little nut!
