Simon Mbugua yesterday became the 8th Member of Parliament to lose his seat through an election petition after the high court in Nairobi nullified his election as the Kamukunji legislator. In a petition filed by Ibrahim Ahmed who contested the seat alongside Mbugua in 2007, lady justice Mary Ang'awa ruled that the returning officer blundered in announcing incomplete results. She further found that an election recount ordered by the high court that gave victory to Mbugua was not in order since ballot boxes had been interfered with. Hussein Mohamed reports.
Am happy for the justice hata kama ODM wamechuwa kiti, haka kajamaa Saimo nikaudu sana .....Saimo now close your buggy Filthy mouth ........

@suensmith Do you know that by riding a camel within the Nairobi CBD he had broken the law? 'Beasts of burden, and or chariots, or wagons or cars drawn by such are punishable by the by-laws of the city council of Nairobi.' Anytime you visit a park in Nairobi, spend a minute to read the ancient rules posted on these noticeboards that lost keys in 1965. Or read petals of blood by Ngugi wa thiong'o to see how his characters were charged in accordance with the rules.
