Hind's Threat to Reason Call to Enlightenment.

Here's a discussion of Hind's redirection of the "Folk Enlightenment" which New Atheists are engaged in. Would that we could get done some of his goals and our own.

We should be showing how religion's tax exempt status is being abused. For example, collectively churches buy up huge amounts of land that then becomes tax exempt land. All that tax deficit is passed onto the remaining people who pay land taxes whether you go to those churches or agree with those religions or not. Remind them that their wallets are being drained by every church without their agreement or even a collection plate.

People often become artists to get away with speaking truth. Seems like a power struggle once again. A person's morality can't outlast his/her hunger.

Thanks man. You've got a point about the hunger/needs/urges vs. morality tradeoff. We need to figure good ways to balance that morally. ;-)
