Watch the video from the forward looking camera mounted under the wing during RF03 of HIPPO II, from Alaska to Hawaii. How many cloud types can you identify?

  • wonderful

  • The up and down flight pattern allows essentially for a vertical cross section, or profile of the atmosphere to be observed. Researchers collect data during the flight and this pattern allows them to collect data at very high altitudes (~50,000') to lower altitudes (~1000') and everywhere in between. When the data are combined it allows them to "see" the chemical composition of a cross section in the atmosphere.

  • why up and down?

  • Sensacional, sorprendente y sublime... NUESTRO PLANETA!!!

  • Una sesión de meditación.
