As someone who is just getting into Tesseract, I think I can offer an objective view on the Elliot vs. Daniel debate, as I don't have any loyalty to flavor my opinion. Its true that Elliot is lacking some of the grit and raw power of his predecessor, but overall I actually prefer Elliot's vocals. I think he has a more wide open epic sounding voice, that compliments the music very well.
