idiots, yes link was left handed but the game was originally based on the gc version. overall, people tend to beright handed, so nintendo fliped the game for the wii to cater to playing the game with the wiimote and nunchuck right handed. thats all!

@kingnahum17 ... Think about it. The creators of Zelda are smart. If you made a character, and youknew R would be block, would you make him hold a sword with his right hand? Didn't think so. And I'm sure there were other reason(s) for it as well.

@cedyros Nah, Link's left handed. YOU're the one who's right handed. Go back and watch all of the Gamecube/N64 games before this.

thank you :)

cedyros. Link is actually left handed, not right handed. He's only right handed on the wii because you swing the wii remote with your right hand to use the sword. I presume it's supposed to be kind of an immersion

YOU'RE ALL WRONG. Link was only ever left handed because R is block in GameCube. But yes, they did change it for Wii. Also, which obviously none of you noticed, the gamecube version is mirrored of the Wii... So you tell me... is he left-handed or right-handed? He only appears to be right handed on the Wii because they flipped it. Lazy coders... -_-

@SkillzThtKillzU Please don't tell EVERYONE they are wrong. Almost everyone knows that the two versions are mirrored. I'm sure R is block in the GC version, but that is not the reason for him being right handed. But it does state the reason for it in an interview with the game's creator.
