NOTE: Some of you people are very stupid. I don't appreciate being called a cunt in your incoherent, illegible, poor excuse for the English language. As I've stated several times, I am in NO WAY glorifying or praising what he did. All I am doing, however, is praising him for this work in the ring. He was a terrific wrestler and a very accomplished one at that.

I was on WWE.com this morning, they didn't have anything on it at the time. I turned on RAW and stared in shock for 5 minutes...I thought I was seeing things and it instead said "In Memory of Vince McMahon" for the silly storyline...but no, it was Benoit. I watched the last hour of the tribute show, teared up at the end, with him and Eddie Guererro raising the belts at WM 20. I watched that match...I was so happy that he won...as long as it wasn't HHH, ha. I watched Benoit in WCW back in the day. I was only 6 then, but I remember it. Now I'm 16, and I'm still a fan. I really can't believe he's gone...being a shorter guy myself, I really looked up to him as a hardworker and not letting any odds get in the way. He seemed like a super nice guy. The video clips with his son...he looked like a great father. The early story is that he killed his wife and son during the weekend, and then himself earlier today. I don't know, it does not seem like Chris could do such a thing. Despite his rough and tough persona on WWE tv, he was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a great friend. He was always there for the guys in the back, assisting Adam Copeland (aka Edge) during his neck surgery and he was always there to help the younger guys. I never had the privilege to meet Chris, but these things I can say in confidence. Benoit will be missed...he'll be missed by me, by many of you, by the WWE fans, and by his fellow co-workers. And he'll be remembered by those who knew him and fans alike as a great worker in the ring with so much respect for the business and for the fans and what he did for his career, and for his friends, he'll be remembered as a great person and friend. That was Chris Benoit.

Chris Benoit, rest in peace.

Also, I intend to make a longer, much better tribute video to Chris. I was in shock at his sudden passing. I put together this video quickly to help alleviate some of the shock.

Again, in no way am I glorifying what he did. I find it terrible that he did what he did. But the fact reamins that he was such an accomplished wrestler...that's what this tribute remembers.

Apparently, Chris had a lot of brain damage from over the years, almost similar to that of an Alzheimer's patient. Is it possible that he had mental problems and ended up snapping? Possibly, in fact, they said it's very likely, as it's occurred in similar cases. But whatever happened, let's not focus on that...let's remember the man for his career and his beautiful family, how they were when they are alive. Celebrate life, not death.

Also, one of the music companies filed a dispute, so I was forced to change the song.

  • why would u make a tribut to a muderer

  • The medical study showed his brain was of a 85 year old man with signs of alzheimers. Lance Cade was also never the same after the beating he took with 19 chair shots from Shawn Michaels. Test also had severe brain damage during his brain study and New Japan has another wrestler on life support due to a savage beating. Ricky Steamboat is still in the hospital due to his beating. The McMahons lied and said no more chair shots but until his wife was vying for office, 2009, there were plenty.

  • @yos1994 1: There is plenty of evidence, if you look, that shows a cover up in this case and in Test's case. 2: People worship serial killers 3: learn how to spell.

  • A computer in Australia has been linked to a notice posted on the Wikipedia website that announced the death of pro wrestler Chris Benoit's wife roughly 13 hours before police found her dead at her home nearby the bodies of her husband and seven-year-old son.

Employees at Wikipedia told FoxNews the posting came from an anonymous user on a computer in Stamford, Connecticut on Monday at 12.01am. Police found the bodies on Monday at 2.30pm, in Benoit's Atlanta, Georgia home.

  • truly, a king amongst child murderers

  • He Died bad, He lived well..

  • @Edgehead10075 True but i never heard them mention the beer cans. Even though it's possible for him to drink i'd doubt he'd just go all out like that. Unlikely as it sounds, if somebody did do it like a hitman or something couldve beeen them. But if its within the 3 of them, Nancy's most likely to have drank em, but I dont know, only God does..

  • I'm sure that the cops took the empty beer cans into account. Maybe his wife drank them; Chris could have even drunk them despite not being a drinker.

  • You shouldn't miss Chris; he's a piece of shit murderer.

  • There are no more chair shots NOW.

Where did you hear that Steamboat is still in the hospital? That was over a year ago, and his hospitalization had nothing to do with the kayfabe attack by Nexus.

At least WWE is finally doing something about wrestlers being hit in the head; TNA is doing absolutely nothing.

  • @Edgehead10075 Man i remember watching this on the news man, I remember 2nd day he gone, June 26, they came to that conclusion. Maybe Benoit did it, maybe he didn't. What about the all the empty beer cans left behind? Benoit wasn't a drinker. But I dont know. I wasn't there. Only God, Chris, Nancy, and Daniel know what happened that tragic weekend in 2007. I ain't trying to start anything but I'm just saying. I agree with you about the roid rage thing tho.
