  • Why are the SPF-band wearing the scottish uniform? And why are they all girls?

  • @RGXExecutor

It's Singapore Women Police Pipes & Drums.

  • Maybe I'm wrong, but am I the only one who wonders if that parade commander is from China?

  • @eSScODRiNgfy

Sure he's Chinese but I'm not quite sure he is "from China", i.e. directly off the boat.

  • What is the object that carried by the SCDF contingent? Is it tools for rescue work?

  • @anakkapalsedia

I think they are the high-pressure water guns that the SCDF use for fire fighting.

  • Proud to be part of this year's NDP parade marching contingent . Having the chance to sit at the FUP backstage looking at the performances has been a pleasure and honor to me . Proud to be a Singaporean , and proud to represent my nation . I must say that all the people behind the scenes have done a really good job making NDP 09 come through . I must thank the marshals , SAF trainers & my contingent commander for guiding me through this . Although it had been a tough journey , im always grateful

  • OMG!!! Ahaha! Im in it!! I miss NDP'09!!

  • @eSScODRiNgfy definitely not..To differentiate(well, not dy/dx) if someone is from China, look at their name. People from China their names will be in Han Yu Pin Yin, for example 王 is Wang in han yu pin yin but might be Wong or Ong due to different dialects. so this parade commander should be a local Singaporean.

  • @eSScODRiNgfy No, he's a Singaporean

  • @emptyangel He's a SAF scholar... -.- no wonder rise so fast

  • @anakkapalsedia

its the water mist gun. there have been several variants for it. and the latest development is actually quite thin and compact

  • @WalkingFantasy We are one was not used in ndp 2008. The supporting contingent march in song for that year was We are Singapore.
