  • @katies101 I know a nation that are 51 occupied states.USA.

  • @AlexKsak Palestine is the Roman name for Ancient Israel. We don't say "USA" in Hebrew we say "Artzot HaBrit".Does our translation change your Federal Status?Kingdom of Israel was started 2800 years ago.The Romans occupied all of the Land of Israel 2070 years ago. With or without your government's support we entered the Land 3300 years ago with Joshua.America supports Egypt with more money than we get.All the Arab countries are supported militarily, economically, politically by USA.

  • @RasMajnouni What? Eve of Destruction is a great song!!!

  • palestine, texas is right up the road from me...nice little town....however relating to the video, John performance A+ as always...not completely sold on T-bone though, not so nice.

  • @AlexKsak Actually to be absolutely correct the name of that region during Jesus' time was "Syriae Palesteana".

The "ea" then evolved to "i" but it is still pronounced "eee".

  • @katies101 Lol sorry if you can't admit it but your town and the one in Illinois are named after the middle eastern region of Palestine. The name has a strong biblical connotation as that region was called Palestine since the roman conquest more than 2000 years ago. It was called Palestine in Jesus' time and that is way the name is important in Christian tradition. Of course because of our governments absolute support for Israel today we tend to deny any link like that. But it is a fact.

  • I'm ambivalent about this song, but there's not many good videos of T-Bone Burnett on YouTube.

  • @AlexKsak actually we were named after a town in Illinois so nope you're wrong

  • @katies101 Yeah but "Palestine" the country is spoken as "Palesteeen" in the middle-east.

The texas town was named after the middle eastern region of "Palestine"

  • @gnherrntn Be happy .In this PALESTEEEEEEEEEN! No check-points , no crazy settlers , no soldiers in arms everywhere and NO OCCUPATION
