  • Beautiful...and well said! My mom (who's raised 4 children/two with special needs and is teacher of 30 years) told me once "the most powerful words you can say to ANY child when they are upset is 'show me' "

A few favorite quotes I collected from fellow teachers...

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You". - Dr. Seuss

"If a child cannot learn in the way we teach … we must teach in a way the child can learn." - Ignacio Estradass

  • Wish everyone could see your video & get that our kids may look like everyone else, but DO have special circumstances, needs, & gifts.

Please, teachers/coaches/etc...don't write my child off as lazy, unmotivated, difficult; our children are smart, beautiful & caring but just see the world through different eyes. They deserve every chance to reach their full potential the same as every other child, & we desperately need your help to accomplish this.

Thank you for this touching, lovely video

  • This is an incredible video. I wish every IEP team could see this and take it to heart and soul. Thank you so much for being an advocate for you child.

  • Absolutely beautiful! I'm crying, I'm smiling, most of all I'm sharing countless feelings and experiences with a wonderful mom I will probably never meet.....

  • I must say that I wish I would have seen your video prior to making my first IEP video. You did a great job! I must say that introducing your child to the IEP team through video is extremely effective!! Even those who are challenged with technology would find making videos such as this fairly easy with software such as Windows Movie Maker that comes pre-bundled with most computers upon purchase.

Once again, very very nice job!!

  • I love it. Because I'm a Special Education teacher!!!!

  • I love this video! We are in this together!!!
