  • read her book 10 times and it's sooo inspirational, happy, and sad at the same time.

  • This woman is the only adult that actually gave good advice for bullying. Our teachers always tell us to either deal with it, or report those kids, which ends in more hate from other kids. Though, when I was in middle school, I didn't like any of the kids in my class, so I didn't mind getting them all in trouble. They ended up ignoring me completely, but since I didn't want to be friends with them in the first place, that was fine for me.

  • I just want to say that ALL those fucking kids that bullied Pheoby Prince are out of jail. I live in that state and people in Boston (major city) don't even know their faces. These kids didn't even suffer that caused so much pain.

  • @DragonFly122 Yes. It's not as interesting as the first book, in my opinion, but in it she digs deeper into how the relationships with her mother and friends have shaped her professionally and personally (although that's not the central focus of the book).

  • @JPotato86 Is it Please Stop Laughing at Us?

  • @DragonFly122 I apologize for assuming that you did not read her book. However, if you read the sequel you will see that her mother regrets not doing more to help Jodee and is now one of the most positive forces in Jodee's life.

  • @JPotato86 I DID read her book (you assume too much). She should have been raised by her great aunts instead of her overbearing mother (who's in dire need of a cat or two or five).

  • @DragonFly122 Theatrics has nothing to do with it. I was bullied and I was one of the quiet kids who never made a scene. Try reading her book before rushing to judgment.

  • She wouldn't have gotten bullied if it wasn't for her "theatrics".
