In my opinion Mothership is a rort. How many times Led Zeppelin has to be 'remastered'? I had my doubts on its sound disadvantages until I analysed the audio and found it all crushed in dynamics. Shame on them!

So how much did you pay for Mothership?

@SlimeTron5000 I personally think the sound quality is brilliant. Its a beautiful box set but as a vinyl collector and Led Zep fan I may be bias. I paid $55 for it brand new.

Sucks that Europe gets all the vinyl reissues of Led Zeppelin and The Beatles before the US. ;/

@Rhiview I never paid over $10 for records. As for Mothership, I have listened to it. It is a victim of the stupid volume war that is continually happening upon CDs for twenty Gregorian years. It reminds me of Iggy's own "remaster" of Raw Power by The Stooges.
