Pros: Increases snow-driving capabilities
Cons: AWD is part-time...upgrade to the GX if you drive in the heavy white stuff.

Notes:
Purchased-Lexus from from Eric(Lexus of Concord, CA)...part time AWD with tire-cables perform just as well as any pick-up truck I have ever owned.... tested tire cables Lexus Rep's Eric and Lexus service buddy Randy suggested instead of chains.

Purchased Tire cables from CSK Auto store http://kragen.com
...Tire Chains mfg'ed by Laclede Chain U.S. Manufacturing Company

Tested From -30F to +11F in soft/hard snow...Lexus electronic SNOW mode/tire cable function was good...with tire cables on, equal to 4x4 Chevy/Ford pickups in deep packed or drifting snow. Without cables/chains, say out of the deep stuff. Brakes functioning without any issue, if accelerator is pressed with brakes, brakes override...ice/cold not a problem.

  • Lol I have this car. It doesn't need chains to go through that. This video killed its potential.

  • Any FWD vehicle can drive as well when using chains on front wheels...

  • xdrive? until it breaks down

  • Take the chain off and you will get nowhere in that crap! Xdrive is better!

  • take off the chain
