WTC We will never forget

CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN...

The people are weary of rhetoric that never leads anywhere. The only way anything will ever change is when our leaders bravely refuse to prop up what is unworthy -- and the pretender World Trade Center would be the fitting place to start.

There is an historic opportunity for Americans to recognize that the Twin Towers could be topped off and the skyline restored by 9/11/2011 if we come together. This is a post-political struggle that embraces all Americans. We can still build a World Trade Center that makes us proud and is worthy of the name.

The blending of the practical and the sublime is precisely what the Twin Towers stood for. They were the pinnacle of worldly and spiritual striving. And that is why the current plan is such a tremendous letdown to so many. Diminshed expectations have no place at Ground Zero, where we have seen how superhuman mere mortals can be.
