Team Teacup's re-cap of the 2011 Philadelphia SGK 3-Day for the Cure 60 mile walk. The 2011 SGK 3-Day once again found Team Teacup on the streets of Philadelphia with over 2000 3-Day Walkers and Crew and countless Walk Stalkers cheering in support.
Through the hills and rain, parks, streets and pain there were so many angels and supporters who loved us through it, cheering throughout the 3 days and the 60 miles with smiles, signs, stories and candy, oh the candy! Poignant memories from the Philly 3-Day include the silent cheering station in dedication to Mama "tutu-tutu", a pink fire truck where walkers wrote their 3-day tributes, some rain falling on Friday afternoon, some tears falling on cheeks through out the 3-Day and for me a little boy in South Philly wearing a black tee-shirt that read "Everyone Deserves a Mommy". Enjoy our journey and thank you for your support.
